My Dress-Up Darling: Season 2 is already in production according to a leak
Based on the manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, the anime of My Dress-Up Darling was one of the biggest surprises of the winter schedule, as well as one of the most popular series of the year. Apparently the show’s success accelerated the production of a second season.
Only recently, My Dress-Up Darling arrived on Crunchyroll dubbed in Italian, but the good news for opera fans doesn’t stop there. L’anime made by CloverWorks it was among the most popular of 2022, and the huge fanbase that was created prompted the animation studio to speed up times for a second season.
According to some rather reliable leaks, My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 is already in production, but the appointment would not be as close as one would expect. There first season of the anime adapts the manga up to chapter 39 and with currently 79 chapters published there would not be enough material to draw from. According to rumors, Aniplex would like that between the anime and the manga there is a wider gap, so that at the end of the second season a third one can already be announced.
At the moment, there is still nothing certain, but official confirmation could come at the My Dress-Up Darling event to be held in September. The leakers are sure that during the event we will have news regarding the second season of the anime.
